Wexford Business Awards: Kinsella Estates Among the Best Family Businesses in Wexford

On a Friday afternoon, it is always good to end the week on a high note.  For all the team here at Kinsella Estates, in both the Carnew and Gorey offices, it has been a great week!

I am so proud to share the news today that Kinsella Estates has been named as a finalist for the prestigious Wexford Business Awards as one of Wexford’s best family-run businesses. I know that the family business sector in County Wexford is vibrant, successful and ambitious so we are all honoured to be counted among the best.

For us, this award nomination is especially meaningful this year as we celebrate 50 years in business.

Five decades is a long time and our successes today are a testament to the foundations that my father put in place back in 1968; our values, ethics and integrity as a family-run business.  The past decade has been a particularly difficult one for the property market locally, nationally and globally. It is wonderful now to see an uplift in the market, bringing with it new developments and new communities into the area.  Every provincial town in Ireland needs this and we are delighted to see Gorey thrive, with new businesses opening every month.

While I look back with gratitude, I know that the future holds many opportunities for the business and for the local area.  The new road infrastructure has made us more connected geographically, enhanced broadband capacity has made us more connected digitally and we still have more hours of sunshine than any other part of Ireland – the future is looking bright!  As regular readers might know, Kinsella Estates become the first estate agency outside of Dublin to use virtual reality to market properties and we offer HD 3D tours of selected residential and commercial property. But we won’t stop here, as technology improves, we will continue to offer a first-class service to our sellers and buyers, in-person and online.  Wherever you are, we’ll meet you there.

Finally, I just want to thank all of the team here, our clients and community for the part that they – you – have played over the past 50 years.  Never think this is taken for granted.  We are passionate about the continued development of the area and we are genuinely grateful for our position within the community, so, thank you.
